Learn to Skydive
Learn to skydive at Adventure Skydive Center! We offer a variety of skydiving courses to suit your level of experience. We offer tandem jumps where you will be secured to a United States Parachute Associated trained instructor.

Training Process
Tandem Jump
1 JUMP - You jump with a USPA certified Tandem Instructor. This is the best way to get you started. You get to experience freefall and canopy flying before going all the way. The Tandem Instructor can give you your first taste of checking your altitude, steering the canopy and answer questions you may have. If you’re still nervous, you can do another until you feel comfortable.
First Jump Course
0 JUMPS - This is a comprehensive course that lasts between 4 to 6 hours (depending upon the size of the class). A United States Parachute Association rated Instructor will take you through the ins and outs of skydiving. This course is to build knowledge and confidence. The course will generally be held on Friday evenings to ensure no interruptions.
Instructor Aided Deployment (IAD)
When you arrive the following day, weather permitting, you will be drilled on the things that you learned in the previous class. Then you will be taught aircraft emergency procedure, how to exit, parachute landing fall, (PLF) and landing patterns. You will be given adequate time to practice all that you have learned. All videos taken of you during this training will be provided to you free of charge.
Jump 2-5 (approx. everyone is different)
Your Instructor will pull your chute for you as you leave from 4500 feet. No freefall yet, just canopy time. We want you to learn to fly and control your canopy first. You will have a radio strapped to your helmet and a Coach or Instructor will be talking you down until you are ready to do it on your own. You will do practice pulls until you are pulling your own pilot chute.
Jump 6-10 (approx. everyone is different)
Every time you pass a requirement, you will go up a little higher until you reach 10,000 feet. You will be taught a poised exit and start experiencing more freefall time.
Jump 11-15 (approx. everyone is different)
This is about the time when you start jumping with a Coach and you really start to learn what skydiving is all about. Your coach will teach you to jump with others, join a formation, do back flips and barrel rolls and ensure you have the skills necessary to be a safe skydiver.
Jump 16-24
You will use this time to perfect your skills as you will be self supervised. You can practice flips, rolls and tracking. You will also receive classes on parachute packing. You may want to perfect your diving exit. It’s up to you.
Jump 25 Graduation Day
You will jump with an Instructor and show them what you have learned. After that successful jump and a written test, you have earned your ‘A’ license. Will be able to jump with others and visit other drop zones.
With every jump, you will gain knowledge and confidence. By jump 25, you will be a competent licensed Skydiver that will be a part of a select group of few that know why the birds sing. You will gain new friends from places that you’ve never been and start acquiring your jump numbers to progress in the sport. Eventually, if you choose to, you will start jumping for great pay. You have options to be; a Coach, Instructor, Videographer, Tandem Instructor, Demo Skydiver and so much more.
